Degree Show & Final Submission

Master’s degree has flown by; particularly this last couple of months. Working on my final collection has been a great and challenging experience. I am so excited to share this work and proud of what I have produced. Highlights of this can be seen in Woven Language. This project focused on telling a story of grief and paying tribute to my father through the medium of woven textile designs. My dissertation was submitted alongside my designs to create a fuller picture and undertstanding of the project. It was greatly interesting research the ways in which textiles have been used historically and in contemporary art and design to communicate.

I am looking forward to what the next step will be for my in pursuing a career in the textiles industry.
